304 stainless steel plate is a universal stainless steel material. It is an alloy steel that is not easy to rust and its rust resistance is stronger than that of 200 series stainless steel materials. High temperature resistance is also quite good. 304 stainless steel has excellent stainless corrosion resistance and good intergranular corrosion resistance. For oxidizing acid, the experiment shows that 304 stainless steel plate has strong corrosion resistance in nitric acid with concentration ≤ 65% below boiling temperature. It also has good corrosion resistance to alkali solution and most organic and inorganic acids. Widely used in medical equipment, food industry, building materials, kitchen utensils.
Most stainless steel ordered around the world is Grade 304. It offers the standard corrosion resistance, formability, strength, and easy maintenance for which stainless is known.
